It's the first time to write my blog in English.
I hope that you can understand what I want to appeal.

Toyama-si Kankoo-kyookai announced that
the event named
"White Illumination Toyama" is been held
from 1 December 2014 until 15 February 2015.
This event is quite simple.
Just lightening the central area of Toyama-si
with 140 thousands LED lights in the evenings
during this period.

As most of the people in the world know,
Japan is under the situation of electric shortage
due to, according to electric power companies,
the shutdown of all nuclear power stations in Japan.
But actually, the truth is that
there is no shortage of electric power.
If there is,
we should suddenly stop doing such a stupid event
to avoid electric shortage.

Why do Toyama-si Kankoo-kyookai do this?
There are not many people living in this area,
and very few tourists visit this city.
That is, very few can see and enjoy the night view.
So, I cannot understand the reason.
It is just the wasting of valuable energy.

As one of Toyama-si municipal tax payer,
I ask Toyama-si to stop this environmentally malignant event
as soon as possible.
